Sun Salutation A CHALLENGE
March 29 3pm We will do sun salutations until the last yogi is standing. The ideal for this challenge was born from two positions, one our objection to the madness of cancer and, two the fight that our family member Wayne Dawson is putting up in his battle with cancer. Wayne’s mantra is “Fight Like Wayne” so in this challenge of body, mind and spirit we fight and show our solidarity against cancer. Proceeds will be donated for cancer research. "Soulful Meditation"
This class, led by Morris Ervin, will incorporate music, movement, the practice of affirmations and mantras all while sitting in a meditative mindset. The class will focus on the use of breath, body sensations and emotions as anchors back into the present moment.
"Hot 26" is a Bikram style yoga class. 90 minutes of yoga at the temperatures in excess of 100 degrees!

Thursdays 7:00pm Flexibility is one of the most necessary parts of our physical existence. We need flexibility to get out of the bed and to move during the day. Unfortunately, most of us rarely dedicate time specifically to flexibility. What:
The Yoga Lab Studio is home to sweat dripping, beat bumping, yoga, movement & meditation. Our hot studio "Biggie" is heated to 80-90 degrees using state-of-the-art infrared technology, which helps create a detoxifying sweat that stimulates blood circulation and increases flexibility.
Classes are paced to the beat of music from a variety of artists and genres to drive your breath and feed your soul. Our lighting is amazing. Some classes benefit from the beauty of the sun and other classes are in a dark, candlelit room with no mirrors to encourage you to turn your focus inward and explore your individual practice.
When: The class schedule is packed with amazing teachers with classes for all levels and needs.
Where: Our first location is nestled in the city of Cleveland Heights at 3624 Mayfield Road in Severance Center right next to Game Stop, but we aren't playing any games!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT YOGA
WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR YOGA CLASS
- A yoga mat and your own props (block and strap).
- A hand towel, or yoga towel. Classes get SWEATY!
- A water bottle to bring into class (or you can purchase bottled water at the studio).
What makes The Yoga Lab different from other yoga studios?
The Yoga Lab in Cleveland Heights is a state of the art yoga studio. In fact, it's more than a yoga studio, its a work of art and a laboratory of inspiration. The Yoga Lab teachers are the best in creativity, traditional yoga, movement and flow.
I am not flexible, can I do yoga?
You are the perfect candidate for yoga! A regular yoga practice will increase your flexibility and mobility. Our teachers are well-versed in offering modifications as well.
Will I get used to the heat?
Yes. The heat will do wonders for your body. It may seem overwhelming at first, but with more focus on breath and drishti (gaze), you’ll love our heated studio in no time. However, our "Smalls" studio is not a heated studio so if het is not your thing, we have a space for you.
Do you have props available?
No, we do not have props or mats available for use at this time due to COVID-19 safety measures.
However, we do have those items in studio for sale!!
What should I wear?
No cotton. Wear breathable fabrics that are comfortable. Bring a change of clothes for after class if you are not going home.
Should I eat before I take a class?
A light snack is best or nothing at all. It depends on what works for you. Experiment with different juices/foods before class. Some prefer to not eat at all while a light snack/fruit/juices work well for many. Arrive for class hydrated!
Are lockers and/or showers available?
Yes!!!
Is there parking?
Yes, the parking lot is very "BIGGIE."~ Named after our Hot Yoga Studio ☺️
